academia, producers, processors, distributors, importers, exporters, private laboratories, equipment/instrument vendors,

and consumer groups working together to develop analytical standards of excellence in the area of pesticides.

QuEChERS was adopted as an AOAC Official Method last year.
Scientists have proposed modifications & added analytes
Do we need to extend the official method?
Methods  to detect ng/uL levels of pesticides in soft drinks are now being studied
Imported products are suspected of contamination.
Europe and Latin America are working to establish internationally accepted pesticide analysis methods
There are hundreds of pesticides. Can we develop much broader screens?
